Back to Basics

A Fundamental Strategy From the Greatest Golfer of All Time

A fundamental strategy from the greatest golfer of all time

Jack Nicklaus is widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers ever to play the game. He holds the record for having 18 PGA Championships - Tiger Woods has 15. These accomplishments didn’t just happen out of nowhere. Even at the height of his successful career, Nicklaus valued taking lessons from his coach, Jack Grout. Nicklaus insisted that Grout go back to basics with him. Grout would coach Nicklaus through golf fundamentals as if he were someone who was just learning how to play.

Where do you need to go back to basics? What fundamentals should you revisit? How might those serve you well now?
